Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information
(주)CUSKIN (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values customers’ personal information and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection and the Personal Information Protection Act. Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs customers of how their personal information is collected, used, and protected. If the Company revises this Privacy Policy, it will notify users through website announcements (or individual notices).
1. Items of Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods
The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration, customer consultation, and service provision.
Collected Items: Name, Login ID, Password, Home Telephone Number, Home Address, Mobile Phone Number, Email Address
Collection Methods: Website membership registration, delivery requests, written forms, membership registration via telephone/fax, customer inquiry boards
2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes.
Fulfillment of contracts and service provision: Provision of content, purchase and payment processing, product delivery or billing information delivery, identity verification for financial transactions and financial services
Member management: Identity verification, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent use by delinquent members, prevention of unauthorized use, confirmation of intent to register, age verification, complaint handling, and delivery of notices
Marketing and advertising: Delivery of promotional information such as events, analysis of access frequency, and statistics regarding service use
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
The Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. However, when preservation is required by applicable laws and regulations, the Company retains member information for a specified period as follows.
Retention Items: Login ID, Payment Records
Legal Basis: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
Retention Period: 5 years
Records regarding contracts or withdrawal of subscriptions: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
Records regarding payment and supply of goods: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
Records regarding consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
4. Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. The procedures and methods are as follows.
Destruction Procedure: Information entered by members for registration, etc., is transferred to a separate database (or separate filing cabinet in the case of paper documents) after the purpose has been achieved and stored for a certain period according to internal policies and relevant laws before destruction. Personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for purposes other than those required by law.
Destruction Method: Electronic files are deleted using technical methods that prevent record recovery. Printed documents are shredded or incinerated.
5. Provision of Personal Information
The Company does not provide users’ personal information to external parties in principle. However, exceptions are made in the following cases.
When users have given prior consent
When required by law or requested by investigative agencies in accordance with legal procedures for investigation purposes

7. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercise
Users and legal representatives may at any time access or modify their registered personal information or request membership cancellation.
To access or modify personal information (or member information), users may use the “Edit Personal Information” or similar menu. To cancel membership (withdraw consent), users may click “Membership Withdrawal” and complete the identity verification process.
Users may also contact the Personal Information Manager in writing, by telephone, or by email, and the Company will take prompt action.
If users request correction of inaccurate personal information, the Company will not use or provide such information until the correction is completed. If incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will notify the third party of the correction results without delay.
The Company processes personal information terminated or deleted at the request of users or legal representatives in accordance with the retention and use period stated above and prevents access or use for other purposes.
8. Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices
The Company uses cookies to store and retrieve users’ information. Cookies are small text files sent by the server operating the website to users’ browsers and stored on users’ computer hard drives.
Purpose of Cookies: Analysis of access frequency and visit times of members and non-members, identification of user preferences and interests, tracking activities, measuring participation in events, and providing targeted marketing and personalized services
How to Reject Cookies: Users may configure browser settings to allow all cookies, confirm each time cookies are saved, or refuse all cookies.
